Infographics benefit basketball. They have potential to help make the game more global by helping people understand the game who struggle or have no knowledge of the english language. Another examples of infographics in basketball are logos for teams. This gives a chance for artists who are passionate about a certain team to show off their creative ability while supporting their team. It also helps people remember certain teams and can boost fan morale. Also infographics are being used by teams to call plays. It used to be that certain teams would use a word as a play, which is still being used today, but more teams have started calling their plays by having a coach on the sidelines hold up a graphic for a signal for a certain play. For example, in high school my team had a play called Blue; coach switched it the next year to a picture of Baloo the bear from  Jungle Book. It helped us because we were able to call a play without our opponents knowing the play's signal so we could run the play again without them knowing what play it is. Lastly, infographics are used when coaches draw up plays instead of writing them in sentences that way players have a better understanding of what the play will look like.
